Kortney’s Last Show Podcast, EP 42: Super Bowl Week hatred

Lynch

In this episode of The Last Show Podcast, I talk about why I hate super bowl week. I don’t like the pumping and priming of big sporting events. And the super bowl is the biggest offender. That is why I hate super bowl week. It’s a variety of pregame show after pregame show, with people saying nothing. It is the most infuriating time on the sports schedule.

I also talk about my trip to San Diego for the San Diego Comedy Festival and I ponder why Eminem is no longer good.

Kortney’s Last Show, EP 41: Birdman, Marshawn Lynch, and Tiger Wood’s Tooth

LynchJunk

On this episode of The Last Show Podcast. I talk about the movie Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). I got to see and I’m confused. Not confused like I don’t know what happened. I know what happened because I watched the movie. I’m confused because I don’t know what, why was what. The acting performances were great. Ed Norton was fantastic, Michael Keaton was great, and Emma Stone still freaks me out.

I also talk about Marshawn Lynch’s running style and his epic celebration routine. Which I found out has a name, “Hold my ****.” I also talk about Tiger Wood’s tooth getting knocked out and who’s getting the most pleasure out of his troubles *spoiler alert* it’s his ex-wife and Kurt Busch’s girl being an assassin.

The Marshawn Lynch interview is officially uncomfortable, Enough

Can we stop with the Marshawn Lynch interviews? Seriously it’s uncomfortable. Just watch the first 45 seconds for the newest edition of both teams played hard (Rasheed Wallace style).

He actually rubs his eyes at and you can see his eyes get watery.

The purpose of an interview is to hear someone talk. The only problem is Marshwan Lynch doesn’t want to talk. So why are we still seeing interviews from him? Who is gaining from this transaction? Is it the media? I don’t think it is. Who has fun being rejected once a week? I’ve been rejected before, and I wasn’t eager to go back for more. And I definitely didn’t want a camera crew to tag along and film my uncomfortable failure. So what going on?

SeahawkWaterMaybe the media is doing this because that’s just the way things are done. “Star players are supposed to talk, because the fans want to know what they have to say”.… Read More

Kortney’s Last Show, EP 36: AirAsia Flight, Great Seattle Seahawks

All-Is-LOST-Browns,Cavs,Harbaugh

In this episode of The Last Show Podcast, All is Lost.

The Seattle Seahawks are the greatest team in the NFL. I love everything about the players on the team, and I wish I was a Seahawks fan. However, I’m stuck with the Cleveland Browns, who over the weekend manage to get headlines for not showing up to work. Apparently Johnny Manziel had a party that was so dope that he manage to miss work. Even though he was injured. That means he doesn’t actually. He only has to show up and let someone massage his hamstring.

I also talk about the missing AirAsia and Jim Harbaugh. I have a bad feeling about Jim Harbaugh to Michigan. I have a feeling he’s going to ruin one of my Saturday evenings.

Kortney’s Last Show, EP 27: BET Hip-Hop Awards 2014

People were killing the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Saying that the show stunk and it look low budget, and that it was a waste of time. So I decided to record the show, because I love seeing a good train wreck. However, there was one problem. I liked the show. It wasn’t the best hip-hop show…

Are Seattle Seahawks fans blaming the refs…again?

Seattle Seahawks fans, Hawk Nation, Twelves, or however you’re referring to yourself these days. Are you blaming the refs for losing to dreadful St. Louis? Kortney’s Last Show, EP26: Seattle Seahawks meaningless loss

The Seattle Seahawks loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and it means absolutely nothing. Did anybody in their right mind think they were going to go undefeated? Did you think they were going to win every home game for the rest of time? I’m sure some of the delusional fans thought all these things would happen.…

The Washington Huskies could take the Big Ten off the hook

The Washington Huskies are slated to be the next victims of the SEC. This weekend they will get thrashed (Savannah State style) by the LSU Tigers. And after that happens, two things will be true. 1. The Big Ten cant beat the SEC consistently 2. The Pac-12 cant beat them at all. Now Pac-12…
