Kortney’s Last Show Podcast, EP 55: Sofía Vergara’s Frozen Eggs

FrozenEggs

On this episode I talk about how ridiculous this whole deflategate thing is. I’m not getting charged up about the psi in a football. However, many people are, and I make fun of them.

I also talk about Sofía Vergara’s frozen eggs.

Diabolical hater of the week is Chris “Mad Dog” Russo.

Kortney’s Last Show Podcast, EP 52: ESPN’s Britt McHenry’s tow truck rant was great!

Britt

On episode 52 of The Last Show Podcast, I talk about Britt McHenry’s tow truck rant. It wasn’t really a rant against tow trucks. It was a rant against an employee of a tow truck company. Personally I support her hate against the tow truck employee on the surface. I say on the surface, because I didn’t do a lot a research. If go full support on the McHenry, someone will email me some tragic email about how she knee capped children at a Chuck E’ Cheeses. So I have surface support for her in relation to the rant on the tow truck business, which I discuss on the podcast.

I also talk about what we can take away from the Aaron Hernandez situation – *Spoiler Alert* Don’t Kill People -, I tell you why Russell Wilson will stay in Seattle forever, a woman that ate 13 lbs. of steak, and my Diabolical Hater of the Week, Monty Williams

If you celebrate the New England Patriot Way? You don’t care about the kids!

pats3

Huh…I don’t hear anything. Where’s your outrage against the New England Patriots for the way they acted during their super bowl parade? People sure love to pounce on the Seattle Seahawks, the 80s Miami Hurricanes, and the LeBron Miami Heat teams, for being braggadocios. Where’s the outrage now? I thought we were supposed to make sure athletes were being responsible and raising our kids effectively. That’s why NBC censored Doug Baldwin’s end zone celebration. That’s why we need to make sure Marshawn Lynch talks to the media and wears the right cleats, because kids needs to see their athletes obey authority. And when they don’t live up to their fatherly standards we need to have a summit, and figure out what’s wrong with these people. That’s when we hold up example like Larry Foote and Bill Cosby, “Come on Bill. Teach these kids how to act.” What happened to the heard of ESPN analyst castigating the athletes?… Read More

Kortney’s Last Show Podcast, EP 43: Love Seattle Seahawks bravado and hate their passing, Lynch vs. Gronk Mortal Combat, and Soliciting Prostitutes

SeahawksTaunt

The Seattle Seahawks didn’t run the ball at the end of the Super Bowl and that’s why they lost the game. I thought we all agreed that it was a dumb call, and the worst in super bowl history. However, I’m seeing articles defending the play call, and some are even condoning it. The worst part is, Seahawks fans are starting to believe this, and they’re sending the article to me. The article I’m getting the most is Benjamin Morris’ on FiveThirtyEight.com. It is a reasonable article, but it should be held up as some kind of validation. It was a horrible call. When you throw the ball 3 things can happen and two of them are bad. Why would you do that with the game on the line? When you have the best power runner in the league. Don’t out think the room run the ball.

Kortney’s Last Show Podcast, EP 42: Super Bowl Week hatred

Lynch

In this episode of The Last Show Podcast, I talk about why I hate super bowl week. I don’t like the pumping and priming of big sporting events. And the super bowl is the biggest offender. That is why I hate super bowl week. It’s a variety of pregame show after pregame show, with people saying nothing. It is the most infuriating time on the sports schedule.

I also talk about my trip to San Diego for the San Diego Comedy Festival and I ponder why Eminem is no longer good.

Kortney’s Last Show, EP 41: Birdman, Marshawn Lynch, and Tiger Wood’s Tooth

LynchJunk

On this episode of The Last Show Podcast. I talk about the movie Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). I got to see and I’m confused. Not confused like I don’t know what happened. I know what happened because I watched the movie. I’m confused because I don’t know what, why was what. The acting performances were great. Ed Norton was fantastic, Michael Keaton was great, and Emma Stone still freaks me out.

I also talk about Marshawn Lynch’s running style and his epic celebration routine. Which I found out has a name, “Hold my ****.” I also talk about Tiger Wood’s tooth getting knocked out and who’s getting the most pleasure out of his troubles *spoiler alert* it’s his ex-wife and Kurt Busch’s girl being an assassin.

The Marshawn Lynch interview is officially uncomfortable, Enough

Can we stop with the Marshawn Lynch interviews? Seriously it’s uncomfortable. Just watch the first 45 seconds for the newest edition of both teams played hard (Rasheed Wallace style).

He actually rubs his eyes at and you can see his eyes get watery.

The purpose of an interview is to hear someone talk. The only problem is Marshwan Lynch doesn’t want to talk. So why are we still seeing interviews from him? Who is gaining from this transaction? Is it the media? I don’t think it is. Who has fun being rejected once a week? I’ve been rejected before, and I wasn’t eager to go back for more. And I definitely didn’t want a camera crew to tag along and film my uncomfortable failure. So what going on?

SeahawkWaterMaybe the media is doing this because that’s just the way things are done. “Star players are supposed to talk, because the fans want to know what they have to say”.… Read More
