The Seattle Seahawks didn’t run the ball at the end of the Super Bowl and that’s why they lost the game. I thought we all agreed that it was a dumb call, and the worst in super bowl history. However, I’m seeing articles defending the play call, and some are even condoning it. The worst part is, Seahawks fans are starting to believe this, and they’re sending the article to me. The article I’m getting the most is Benjamin Morris’ on FiveThirtyEight.com. It is a reasonable article, but it should be held up as some kind of validation. It was a horrible call. When you throw the ball 3 things can happen and two of them are bad. Why would you do that with the game on the line? When you have the best power runner in the league. Don’t out think the room run the ball.

On this episode of The Last Show Podcast, I talk about the Super Bowl. I pay special attention to all the people making excuses for the Seattle coaches not calling a running play. It’s a bad decision. I also talk about why I like the Seahawks players. I like the fight they started and all the taunting. Somebody has to wear the black hat, and it fits the Seahawks great.

I also talk about Marshawn Lynch and Rob Gronkowski playing Mortal Combat on Conan. It was the funniest thing I’ve seen this year. Yes I know it’s only February, and that’s why I made that ridiculous statement.

I also talk about Warren Sapp getting arrested for soliciting a prostitute. This is weird, and could have easily been avoided.
