Thanks to everyone that stayed for (Stand-Up Style) Comedy Showcase this past Sunday. I know the show was delayed by 2 hours, and I wouldn’t have been surprised if everyone went home. However, most everybody stuck it out, and got a treat in Brian Moote.
Brian was fantastic. I heard nothing, but great things from everyone who attended. No one even brought up the fact that the show started late. So big thanks to Brian for coming through, and making me look good.
Also Billy Anderson and Jamal Harrington were great. I had people that have been to several shows, who told me it was the best lineup of comedians they had seen. That was in large part because of Billy and Jamal. They made the lineup strong throughout the show.
At the end of the show Sunday, I announced that I had been asked by Naked City to produce a monthly comedy show.… Read More

Welcome back to The Last Show Podcast.
On this episode I talk about Kendrick Lamar’s new album, To Pimp A Butterfly. I call it an album review, but I’m not even sure it’s a review. Heck, I’m not even sure it’s a hip-hop album. It is a great work of art that confuses me. I don’t know what Kendrick is talking about. However, I spend time talking about it, and breaking it down.
I also talk about rediscovering the J. Cole, 2014 Forrest Hill Drive album. I heard it when it came out, and I wasn’t that impressed. It was probably because I soured on J. Cole after the Born Sinner album. I wasn’t a fan of that album. I thought it was too clunky. So when 2014 Forrest Hill Drive can out, I probably didn’t give it a fair shake. So I glad I got the opportunity to rediscover the album, while was traveling.… Read More

Why is Breastfeeding on the bus a part of the title? Well it makes strangers click on the link, and it’s a manifesto for my show (Stand-Up Style).
Sunday April 5th 7 PM at Naked City Brewery in Greenwood
(Stand-Up Style) is a comedy showcase that features international touring Stand-Up comedians, and some up-and-coming local openers.
It is not and open mic or amateur night.
It’s a professional showcase, that’s guaranteed to be a great night of comedy, and not one that turns your one night out, into a 3 hour marathon of unfunny; which ends up being more depressing than entertaining. Leaving you thinking, “I should have stayed home and watched Seinfeld reruns.”
