Kortney’s Last Show, EP 119: Kanye, Kim, and Taylor Swift & Melania Trump

On this episode of the podcast I’m back in the homeland, and by the homeland. I mean I’m back in Seattle. Using my microphone, and I have a Fully Loaded show. I wonder why people care to criticize the Republican National Convention. Why do we have such reverence for something that’s failing? It’s like fighting…

Kortney’s Last Show Podcast, EP 52: ESPN’s Britt McHenry’s tow truck rant was great!

Britt

On episode 52 of The Last Show Podcast, I talk about Britt McHenry’s tow truck rant. It wasn’t really a rant against tow trucks. It was a rant against an employee of a tow truck company. Personally I support her hate against the tow truck employee on the surface. I say on the surface, because I didn’t do a lot a research. If go full support on the McHenry, someone will email me some tragic email about how she knee capped children at a Chuck E’ Cheeses. So I have surface support for her in relation to the rant on the tow truck business, which I discuss on the podcast.

I also talk about what we can take away from the Aaron Hernandez situation – *Spoiler Alert* Don’t Kill People -, I tell you why Russell Wilson will stay in Seattle forever, a woman that ate 13 lbs. of steak, and my Diabolical Hater of the Week, Monty Williams

If you celebrate the New England Patriot Way? You don’t care about the kids!

pats3

Huh…I don’t hear anything. Where’s your outrage against the New England Patriots for the way they acted during their super bowl parade? People sure love to pounce on the Seattle Seahawks, the 80s Miami Hurricanes, and the LeBron Miami Heat teams, for being braggadocios. Where’s the outrage now? I thought we were supposed to make sure athletes were being responsible and raising our kids effectively. That’s why NBC censored Doug Baldwin’s end zone celebration. That’s why we need to make sure Marshawn Lynch talks to the media and wears the right cleats, because kids needs to see their athletes obey authority. And when they don’t live up to their fatherly standards we need to have a summit, and figure out what’s wrong with these people. That’s when we hold up example like Larry Foote and Bill Cosby, “Come on Bill. Teach these kids how to act.” What happened to the heard of ESPN analyst castigating the athletes?… Read More

Kortney’s Last Show, EP 38: Stuart Scott…

Football - NCAA - Rose Bowl - Ohio State vs. Oregon

When I heard about Stuart Scott passing away it rocked me like I didn’t think it would. I had no idea I had this connection to him. Many that knew him have eulogized him, so I’m not going to do that. Instead on the podcast I talk about how he affected me. I love Stuart Scott, and I glad I got the opportunity to watch him.

I also talk about Sony making a new Walkman which sounds like a horrific idea. On top of that it cost $1100.

And it wouldn’t be a show unless I talked about The Ohio State Buckeyes and their matchup against Oregon in the National Champion. Now “spoiler alert” they’re going to win, but I explain why.

Did Pat Riley go preemptive comic sans slave owner rant on LeBron James?

In the interest of full disclosure, I’m a Cavaliers fan. So I may have some blind spots when it comes to my team. For instance, I think Dion Waiters is a good player, and Anthony Bennett will eventually make an all-star team. In addition, I’ve never seen a problem with the infamous letter Dan Gilbert…
