On this episode I talk about Kendrick Lamar’s new album, To Pimp A Butterfly. I call it an album review, but I’m not even sure it’s a review. Heck, I’m not even sure it’s a hip-hop album. It is a great work of art that confuses me. I don’t know what Kendrick is talking about. However, I spend time talking about it, and breaking it down.
I also talk about rediscovering the J. Cole, 2014 Forrest Hill Drive album. I heard it when it came out, and I wasn’t that impressed. It was probably because I soured on J. Cole after the Born Sinner album. I wasn’t a fan of that album. I thought it was too clunky. So when 2014 Forrest Hill Drive can out, I probably didn’t give it a fair shake. Why is Breastfeeding on the bus a part of the title? Well it makes strangers click on the link, and it’s a manifesto for my show (Stand-Up Style).

(Stand-Up Style) is a comedy showcase that features international touring Stand-Up comedians, and some up-and-coming local openers.
It is not and open mic or amateur night.
It’s a professional showcase, that’s guaranteed to be a great night of comedy, and not one that turns your one night out, into a 3 hour marathon of unfunny; which ends up being more depressing than entertaining. Leaving you thinking, “I should have stayed home and watched Seinfeld reruns.”
