Kortney’s Last Show Podcast, EP 49: Today I Canceled My Cable

CutCable

On This Episode of The Last Show Podcast hosted by, Kortney Shane Williams

I have officially canceled my cable (it was actually me and my wife’s cable, but she doesn’t care if I take all the credit for it), and it feels great. Enough of Comcast’s foolishness.

The only reason I had cable was for sports. However, now with Sling TV I can get sports without a cable package, and it’s on $20. They also gave me a free Amazon Fire Stick, which makes me think this is a bad idea, but who cares. I went from paying $124 to $60. The downside is that I don’t get paper view. That means I have to find a place to watch the Pacquiao v. Mayweather fight. Chances are I will be in a Mexican bar, which could possible end bad. So ending my cable could end up with me paying a hospital bill which would end up costing more than $124.

I also talk about the NCAA Tournament. The Final Four is upon us, and Kentucky is on the brink of doing something legendary. The could be the first undefeated team in 39 years, and I wondering why people are rooting against it.
